Parks Canada warns of coyotes in Nels Nelsen ski jump area

Parks Canada is warning of coyote activity in the Nels Nelson ski jump area.

Parks Canada is warning of coyote activity in the Nels Nelsen ski jump area in Mount Revelstoke National Park.

On Nov. 16, they published a coyote warning for the Nels Nelson Area in Mount Revelstoke National Park.

“There has been an increase in coyote activity and bold behaviour,” Parks Canada states.

They encourage visitors to keep small children close and keep dogs on leash at all times, especially while using the bike park and the Soren Sorensen trails.

Parks Canada reminds the public to never approach or feed wildlife as this is illegal and can cause harm.

Have you seen any coyotes in the area? Please report all sightings to Mount Revelstoke staff.
