Tourism Revelstoke‘s draft Destination Management Plan that was released earlier this year is nearing the finish line when it comes to final approvals. There has been an incredible effort put in from residents, businesses, the city, and other community organizations to bring this document to life and we’re looking forward to implementing actions alongside our partners in 2024.
To kick things off, we’re excited to be joining Community Connections in their mission to raise $150K to help fight hunger in our community through their food bank services and various food programs this holiday season.
Did you know that this past year, our local food bank saw an average of 800-1000 visits every month? … and it’s not just Revelstoke, food bank visits across Canada were 32% higher in March of 2023 in comparison to March of 2022.
We were delighted to be able to match donations on December 8th at the Big Eddy Winter Market and are continuing to fundraise all month long.
