A new creative arts blog hosted on revelstokemountaineer.com will showcase what Revelstoke artists and creatives are producing during the COVID-19 isolation period, and will feature prizes for selected works.

Revekstoke Reflections, brought to you in partnership with Revelstoke Arts Council and Revelstoke Mountaineer, is an online forum where Revelstokians can share their creativity and enjoy the creations of others.

The contest is open to all residents, and prizes will be awarded in experience categories, including a contest for young artists.

To participate, artists can upload their digital works on revelstokemountaineer.com, including many multimedia formats such as visual, video, audio and more. The works will then be published on revelstokemountaineer.com.

To submit, please see our submission form via this link, or find it on the right hand sidebar of our homepage at revestokemountaineer.com. Sorry, no mobile phone uploads currently.

Submissions should be your own original work, or work created in collaboration with others, and must have been created during the coronavirus crisis, from March 15, 2020 onwards only. If you do not own the copyright for the work then do not submit it, work copied from somewhere else is not allowed. Some suggested submissions include:

–Photography

–Jokes
–Poems
–Book reviews
–Videos
