What’s with the sirens tonight? That’s the Emergency Services food drive
The Revelstoke Emergency Services Fight Back Against Hunger food drive will light up Revelstoke neighbourhoods with sirens on Wednesday, Sept. 16, and Thursday, Sept. 17 when fire trucks, police cars and other emergency services vehicles go door to door collecting food bank donations.
The Revelstoke Emergency Services Fight Back Against Hunger food drive will light up Revelstoke neighbourhoods with sirens on Wednesday, Sept. 16, and Thursday, Sept. 17 when fire trucks, police cars and other emergency services vehicles go door to door collecting food bank donations.
The food bank is looking for donations including kids snacks, baby food, canned fish and meats, pasta sauces, laundry detergent, chunky soups, toilet paper, cereal, toiletries, canned or powdered milk, peanut butter, toothpaste and more.
Volunteers will be making collections between 6–8 p.m. If you’re not in, leave your donation in a bag on the doorstep.
The annual food drive is a major source of food collection for Revelstoke’s food bank.
