Hailing from Calgary with influences from Jonny Cash, Motorhead and KISS, this hillbilly trio will be sure to awaken you from your shoulder season slumber with their heavy punk rock vibrations. Get silly with ‘Trayne Rekk’ (lead vocals) and co., as they deliver some country, rock, and punk music this Friday night.

Downtown’s Mackenzie Ave. will be transforming into a bustling hub for local produce and unique craftwork once more. You’ll have until 1 p.m. Saturday to get yourself downtown and support local before the market wraps up for the day.

Mantra – Sounds into Silence Feature Film at Revelution Fitness & Yoga, 6 p.m.

Mantra is a feature-length documentary film about spirituality, not religion. It charts the history, expansion, and effect of new music and the social phenomenon of chanting. The film focuses on everyday people who have found a sense of healing through singing mantras together with others. It features the artists and musicians who have spearheaded this new music-based movement. The screening will cost $5 for adults and kids go free.

Downhill Fiver Series at Flowt Cycle & Ski, 10 a.m.
The Chainless TNT race is the first in the Downhill Fiver Series brought to you by Flowt Bikes & Ski. If you’ve never tried a chainless race before, this is your chance! Don’t know how to take your chain off? Friendly riders will help you at the top. Registration will be from at 10:00 – 10:30 a.m. at the Griffith Creek Parking Area. You will need $5 and an RCA membership to participate in the race. Memberships and merchandise will be available to buy at the event!

National Theatre presents Allelujah streaming live at the Roxy Theatre, 1.p.m.

NT LIVE is a program of the National Theatre of England that broadcasts select theatrical performances live around the world. The Revelstoke Theatre Company has been bringing these performances to the community for the past three years. This Sunday the RTC will present “Allelujah” by Alan Bennett at The Roxy Theatre. There will be a brief intro and follow up discussion by Anita Hallewas. Entrance for the screening will cost $15 and tickets will be available to purchase at the door.
