Spring Cleaning for a Good Cause (garage sale fundraiser) at 2nd Street (between Mackenzie and Dose Laneway), 8 a.m.

The Revelstoke Women’s Shelter Society and Royal LePage are teaming up to organize a sidewalk sale in downtown Revelstoke this Saturday. Wander up towards DOSE café after you’ve finished shopping at the farmers market. You can expect some great deals on quality goods between 9 a.m.–1 p.m. All proceeds go to the Revelstoke Women’s Shelter Society.

Create Your Own Bottle of Gin at Jones Distilling, 3:30 p.m.

In a bid to celebrateGin-credible’ mothers, this workshop will have you producing your own custom-made bottle of gin — an ideal gift for Mother’s Day. The event will include a tour of the craft distillery and a tasting session. You will also learn about the art of botanics, explore their flavors and how they marry to create gin. The two-hour workshop will cost $118 + tax.
