This Friday, the Revelstoke Trading Post will be transformed into an art gallery through the captivating work of multi-media artist Mia Dungeon. Mia specializes in 2D and 3D paintings and sculptures, often using reclaimed wood as a canvas for her art. The event kicks off at 7 p.m. and there will be refreshments, food, and tunes by DJ Spanda.
Darts & Karaoke at Revelstoke Legion, 8 p.m.
The perfect post-art-show stop off. The Royal Legion will kick off its karaoke and darts night at 8 p.m. this Friday. Enjoy drink specials and a giggle, as you watch your friends murder some of those classic hits in karaoke.
Saturday, April 27
Revelstoke Farmers Market at Downtown Revelstoke, 8 a.m.
Yes — it really is that time of year already! Downtown’s Mackenzie Ave. will be transforming into a bustling hub for local produce and unique craftwork once more. You’ll have until 1 p.m. Saturday to get yourself downtown and support local before the market wraps up for the day.
Get your hands on a new (ish) bike — or sell your old one — with no hassle at this weekend’s Bike Swap & Expo. There will be retailers and bike experts on site to answer your questions and will have products for sale. It will cost $3 to register your gear for sale, with 15% of the sale price (up to $50) going to the NCES. Product registration starts at 10 a.m. and doors open to the public at 12 p.m.
Revelstoke Coffee House at the Revelstoke United Church, 7:30 p.m.
After almost a decade of providing quality local folk music, the coffee house will be closing its doors for good after this Saturday’s show. The evening will follow it’s usual format, kicking off with open mic followed by a performance by prairie balladeer Scott Cook to wrap things up. Make sure you swing by to say goodbye.

Game of Thrones screening at The River City Pub, 9 p.m.
If we’re all antisocial together, that makes it kind of social, right? It’s time for GoT nerds to congregate this Sunday in front of the big screen. It’s going to be a good one, so why not sit back and enjoy this week’s episode with friends, a pint of beer and a poutine.
