Get ready for the 28th annual Glacier Challenge. Sunday's headliners are KC Roberts & The Live Revolution (KCLR) are a Toronto-based, eight-piece funk fusion explosion draws comparisons to The Roots, Jamiroquai, Prince, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Janelle Monae.

Revelstoke’s 28th annual Glacier Challenge softball tournament is this weekend, and there is a full lineup of bands and DJs for nightly entertainment in the beer garden. Friday, July 31

6 p.m. – DJ Wesside
7 p.m. – Entangados
9:30 p.m. – The Leg Up Program

Entangados is an Argentine band that dresses up as clowns and performs a blend of Latin, Balkan and ska sounds. Hard to describe! Have a listen to this video for a taste:

The Leg-Up Program is a hip-hop funk rock soul orchestra band based in Victoria, BC and is a musical collective made up of local musicians. Their goal is to further their musical experience and understanding while creating sounds that seduce, harmonies that hypnotize, melodies that mesmerize and to provoke thought, address social issues and have a really good time.

The Leg-Up Program is a hip-hop funk rock soul orchestra band based in Victoria, BC and is a musical collective made up of local musicians. Their goal is to further their musical experience and understanding while creating sounds that seduce, harmonies that hypnotize, melodies that mesmerize and to provoke thought, address social issues and have a really good time.

Influenced by artists like Dierks Bentley, Zac Brown Band, Dwight Yoakam, CCR, Bruce Springsteen, and Johnny Cash, the band’s original music leaves its mark on audiences with a unique sound. Energetic and meaningful, their lyrics hit like a four on the floor kick drum.

The Bitterweed Draw are a riotous and swaggering six-piece honky-tonk juggernaut that has ignited crowds from coast to coast.

KC Roberts & The Live Revolution (KCLR) are a Toronto-based, eight-piece funk fusion explosion draws comparisons to The Roots, Jamiroquai, Prince, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Janelle Monae.

The band has regularly shared the stage at festivals and clubs across Canada with major international artists including Lettuce, Lee Fields, DJ Q-Bert, Z-Trip, Spectrum Road and Blue King Brown.
