Welcome Week continues today with a performance by award-winning, highly acclaimed band La Vent Du Nord.

La Vent Du Nord are a leading force in Quebec’s progressive francophone folk music. Drawing from traditional sources, rooted in Celtic diaspora and original compositions, the result is hard-driving soulful music. Featuring button accordion, guitar and fiddle the group exhibits musical finesse and flexibility. They’ve collaborated with the likes of Harry Manx, The Chieftains, and Quebecois roots legend Michael Faubert.

La Vent Du Nord perform at the Revelstoke Performing Arts Centre tonight. Sunday, Nov. 24 at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $25, at revelstokeartscouncil.com, the Revelstoke Visitor’s Centre, or at the door
