Want to work in the oil patch? You’ll need this course

This course is intended for anyone currently working or wanting to work in the petroleum industry. The goal of H2S Alive is to prepare workers to recognize H2S hazards and protect themselves, as well as perform basic rescue during an H2S incident. The course is a combination of theory and practice with each student learning to use breathing apparatus, detector tube devices and perform rescue techniques and rescue breathing.

Upon successful completion of written and practical examinations, the candidate will be issued an H2S Alive certificate, which is valid for three years.
