Trans-Canada Avalanche closures most of Saturday

- A Pineapple Express weather system has brought a wave of warming precipitation to the Revelstoke area, leading to a series of avalanche control closures of the Trans-Canada Highway.
- The highway will be closed in phases both east and west of Revelstoke for most of Saturday daylight hours.
- Closures are planned midmorning west of Revelstoke, and a series of closures are planned east of Revelstoke in Glacier National Park and east towards Golden for the daytime and afternoon.
