Video Time lapse: Somewon Collective commissions artists for new Revelstoke mural

Somewon Collective commissioned artists Mark Kowalchuk and Benji Strikwerda to create a mural in their First Street West location. Here’s a time lapse video of the project.

Revelstoke’s own Somewon Collective hosted artists Mark Kowalchuk (Art School Skateboards) and Benji Strikwerda (Low Class Art) to create a new mural for Someone Collective Headquarters 308 First Street West in late February.

The shop used to be a lighting fixture store and had a large, 15-foot-high display wall that was screaming to be painted.

The mural creation process was captured on the above video. Direction and timelapse photography by Nick Khattar, videography by Danny Leblanc and Rock Lobster Dancing by Morgan Purcell.
