Senior Revelstoke RCMP officer Sgt. Kim Hall passes suddenly

Revelstoke is mourning the sudden loss of Sgt. Kim Hall, a senior RCMP staff member at the Revelstoke detachment.
“It is with sadness that the Revelstoke RCMP must advise the community that Sergeant Kim Hall passed away yesterday after a brief medical emergency,” said Staff-Sgt. Kurt Grabinsky in a Jan. 13 statement circulated to news media.
Hall experienced a stroke on Saturday while visiting family in Sechelt, B.C. and passed away in hospital there.
Hall started with the RCMP in 1990 and served in many B.C. detachments including Chilliwack, the Sunshine Coast, in Boundary, and the RCMP Sea-to-Sky detachment.
A private memorial service is planned in the coming week on the Sunshine Coast.
