Revy Riders’ Triple B event a second year success

Over 120 female dirt bike riders, friends and family traveled to Revelstoke this past weekend to take place in the Revy Rider’s Triple B Rally.

It’s the second year in a row that the event has successfully played out and this time saw 45 riders compete over six hours to hit as many trail checkpoints over Revelstoke’s 60km of trails.

The most advanced group included guest rider Pro Enduro and Moto Canadian Champion Shelby Turner. They tackled Roland’s Revenge, an infamous 12-kilomentre loop with rocks, logs, rooty hill climbs, deep woods and epic lookouts. The green crew charged Sandy, a smooth rolling trail that cuts into the mountainside and Annie F150, a well packed tour around the Deadman’s Creek area.

The Rider of the Year based on checkpoint totals, rider poll and best photo was awarded to a crowd favourite Karina King. With major street cred from charging a 1985 Honda combined with her vibrant, encouraging personality she fully encompassed the Triple B Rally spirit.

Glacier House Resort hosted the guests and their RV lot was packed to the brim with row upon row of RVs and riders and supporters relaxed after the event with a community barbecue.
