Revy Rider Holly Colwell takes first at Panorama Hare Scramble

Our Revy Riders Dirtbike Club has proved to be yet another one of our towns awesome training grounds for local riders. The first annual Panorama Hare Scramble last weekend had a great club representation with local Holly Colwell taking first place in advanced women’s division and Tennille Barber taking fourth. Several other club members showed well in the competition.

The first event Panorama has hosted in partnership with the Windermere Valley Dirtriders proved to be a popular and exciting one, with over 300 riders from across Alberta and B.C. travelling to take part in this rare race located right on the ski hill.

With up to 150 riders on the course at one time, riders battled it out throughout the day, jumping logs, roots and rocks in this enduro and cross country race. As one of the clubs strongest female riders, it is no surprise that this is not the first podium event this season for Holly Colwell who also took 2nd at the well known Kamloops Big Kahuna race in the spring.

The Revy Riders are hosting their 3rd annual Triple B all female dirtbike rally and camp out July 9 at Glacier House. For more info on the club or upcoming events head on over to www.revyriders.com.
