Video Revelstoke’s Lo-fi Uppercut releases video for Don’t Wait

Revelstoke band Lo-fi Uppercut has released a new single they recently recorded at Millwood Studios in Venice Beach, California.

Lead artist and vocalist Bruce Thomas said Lo-fi Uppercut spent three days in April recording their new album.

The video for Don’t Wait is a teaser for their upcoming new live album, called Rungs Where There Were None. The two-piece includes Bruce Thomas on guitar and vocals, and Montreal native and Venice Beach resident Eddy Cola on percussion.

The band also did some gigs while in the Los Angeles area, including at the Mint Club.

Bruce is well known in Revelstoke as a visual and multimedia artist with a constantly evolving, eclectic style that blends varying subject matter including Canadiana, travel, outdoor exploration, backcountry life, and lots of digital manipulation.

Bruce is most known for electronic music without vocals; this single is a foray into live vocals.

Catch Bruce at the Taco Club on Thursday nights from 7–9 p.m. in May where he plays bluegrass inspired music.
