Revelstoke’s 2016 Glacier Challenge party line-up

It’s that time of year again, when slow-pitch players from around B.C. and further afield descend on Revelstoke for a weekend of tournaments, community spirit, and a touch of partying.

Bands are scheduled in the beer garden for each evening of the four-day event, including classic blues and rockabilly Edmonton band Sam Spades and one special unknown band for Saturday night.

Friday July 29

6:30 p.m. – West of Memphis

7:30 p.m. – Fastest Pitch Contest (sign up at the concession)

9:30 p.m. – Sam Spades

Saturday July 30

6:30 pm – West of Memphis (see above)

7:30 pm – Home Run Derby (sign up at the concession)

9:30 pm – SPECIAL SECRET GUEST BAND

Sunday July 31

4 p.m. – Panzerotti Eating Contest sponsored by The Village Idiot

7 p.m. – West of Memphis

9:30 pm – Sam Spades
