Skiitour at Traverse, 9 p.m.
The legendary Whistler DJ duo, SkiiTour, will be taking over Traverse this Friday night. When they’re not shredding fresh pow, the dynamic duo can be found smashing out hit records in the studio. This is no ordinary party too – make sure to dust off the retro ski-onesies and goggles, as it’s essential that you celebrate this evening in the appropriate attire! Doors for this event open at 9 p.m. and DJ Shylow will be warming up the dance floor.
In/Vertigo & Open Air at the Last Drop Pub, 10 p.m.
Cheap drink deals all night, as well as some head-banging music from the Calgary-based rock and roll band, In/Vertigo, leaves little reason not to visit the Drop this Friday. But if that’s still not enough for you, the up-and-coming rock band Open-Air will also be joining in on the madness — making sure you’ll get your fill of Rock all evening. The show starts at 10 p.m. and this event has no cover charge.
