Revelstoke Snowmobile Club and Team Thunderstruck donate $10,000 to Avalanche Canada

Representatives from the Revelstoke Snowmobile Club, Team Thunderstruck and Avalanche Canada gathered at the new RSC welcome centre on Westside Road for a presentation on the morning of Feb. 20.

Team Thunderstruck and the Revelstoke Snowmobile Club teamed up to donate $10,000 to Avalanche Canada.

Members of all three organizations gathered at the new Revelstoke Snowmobile Club welcome centre on Westside Road for a presentation on the morning of Feb. 20.

Team Thunderstruck is a filming company known for their Thunderstruck series. Each fall they co-host a gathering, dinner and film screening with the local snowmobile club to raise funds for the Revelstoke Food Bank, Revelstoke Search & Rescue and Avalanche Canada.

The event coincides with the start of the grooming program on Boulder and Frisby mountains.

Since 2010, they have donated $55,000 to Avalanche Canada to support their programs.
