Revelstoke Rotary auction supports Ukraine relief effort
Revelstoke’s Rotary Club is hosting a Support Ukraine raffle on Mar. 17, 2022 featuring locally donated prizes. Proceeds will support the ShelterBox initiative, a disaster relief program that sends specialized plastic boxes with supplies to support people in disaster areas.
The Rotary Club of Revelstoke is raffling off donations from local businesses to support a relief effort for Ukraine.
Proceeds from the raffle will support ShelterBox donations to Ukraine. The non-profit sends tailored disaster relief boxes to areas experiencing disasters. The contents of the boxes support the needs of individuals who have been affected by the disaster and are tailored to the needs of the particular situation
ShelterBox partners with Rotary clubs in Canada and has supported relief efforts in disaster areas around the world.
The Revelstoke club is holding its auction on Mar. 17. Tickets to the raffle are $25 and can be purchased online through a Revelstoke Rotary Eventbrite page.
