“We’ve been exploring some new areas to find shade and it’s been great climbing so far this year with lots of interest out there in the Revelstoke community. The parking lots are full and climbers are out on the rocks!”
The library carries great local climbing guidebooks. We also have some very inspiring and suspenseful collections of true climbing stories that will motivate you to get out there (or maybe scare you off!)
They are great entertainment for the armchair climbing enthusiast like I am. Some of the titles include: Climb: Tales of man versus boulder, crag, wall, and peak and Climb: stories of survival from rock, snow and ice. The library will soon be carrying Gripped magazine as well.
Check out the climbing books and DVD’s in the library catalogue through this link.
