Many season passholders have been waiting for Revelstoke Mountain Resort to break the news of how the 20/21 season will look like. On Oct. 27, RMR provided an update, including news there will be no terrain park, warming huts, or group lessons.
Suspended services
On their website, RMR announced that at least until January 2021 their terrain park will be closed, while the ‘Gnome Zone’ will be open but without any features. All the warming huts and lockers will also be closed. There will be no childcare services, and no spectators will be allowed at competitions. Further, group lessons will not be offered, besides the Kids Weekend Programs for residents within the Columbia–Shuswap Regional District.
Preventative measures
RMR is expanding its outdoor seating and there will be online ordering for all food and beverage. Besides continuing with mandatory face coverings, and frequently disinfecting the gondola cabins and high touch points, all staff will have their temperatures checked daily. The lifts will be run at full capacity; however, guests can request to only ride with their own group.
Reservations
Reservations will not be required for season passholders or for any pre-purchased pass. The resort strongly encourages customers to pre-purchase tickets, as the resort, “may need to implement capacity restrictions during periods of high demand.”

Refund policy
The resort has added a ‘seasonal interruption policy’, which entitles passholders to credit refunds. Season pass holders will be refunded the paid price minus $90 dollars per day of lift pass use. You are also entitled to a refund if you cannot travel to Revelstoke from out of country or province due to COVID-19 travel restrictions. The credit can be used to purchase lift access products until April 2022.
In a statement on their website, RMR said the new policies are subject to change as the nature of the pandemic evolves.
