The new trails will be phased in throughout the summer, bringing the total trail distance to 47 kilometers by the end of the season. Opening for lift-accessible biking operations in 2019, RMR is relatively new to the mountain bike scene. However, they are looking to expand in the industry.

Operating hours are also extending this summer. From June 19 until September 6, lifts will run from 9 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. Then, from 9 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. September 7 to September 26.

Due to a lower spring snowpack, the trail crew at RMR had the opportunity to further progress building and maintaining lower elevation trails.

“Our crews have been working hard over the past few weeks getting trails buffed out and ready to ride,” says Steve Whale, Revelstoke Mountain Resort slopes manager. “We’ve made a few line changes to both Fifty Six Twenty and Bagful of Boogie to help with flow and sustainability.”

The resort will open for mountain biking on June 19. To purchase passes and find out more about summer operations, visit the official resort website.
