Revelstoke MastHERmind brings together women entrepreneurs

A new Revelstoke women’s entrepreneur networking group held a successful first event and is seeking new members with the goal of supporting, collaborating and inspiring.

Talia Camozzi, Theresa Camozzi and Jackie McDonald are the founding members of Revelstoke’s newest women’s group, Revelstoke MastHERmind.

The group was created with the awareness and need of connection among female entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs in Revelstoke. Creating a space for women to come together to support, collaborate and inspire one another.

We created a private Facebook page, set our intentions and shared it on Facebook. To our amazement within the first 24 hours we had 100 members. Today, nearly two weeks later, we have 291.

Sunday, Jan. 17, marked our first live event with 30 women in attendance and others live on Periscope. We spoke about collaboration vs competition, creativity and connection. The feedback and conversation was filled with ideas and excitement.

Moving forward there will be live events once a month for members. Options such as a monthly dinner and live speaker, workshops, and a ‘women’s show’ event that will be an opportunity for women to sell their products and services.

Our hope is to be able to come from a place of offering value to one another and the community.

We believe when empowered women come together anything is possible.

There will be a public Facebook page posted soon.
