Over the past five years the Revelstoke Library has been working to create an art and exhibit program that gives us the opportunity to collaborate with local artists by providing them with an exhibit and demonstration space: they provide the library with beautiful art that adds immensely to our facility’s appeal.
The library will be hosting a reception and demonstration by current exhibitor, Karen Millard, on Wednesday, November 28, from 4 to 6 p.m. Karen is an experienced art instructor, a fun and engaging presenter, and an artist whose work in many different mediums is inspirational and accomplished.
Upcoming in December, the library is very excited to be hosting a reception for the opening of an exhibit of the work students in grades 10–12 from Revelstoke Secondary School. The reception will be held on Tuesday, December 11, from 6–8 p.m. This exhibit will run from December until March, and features work in many mediums.
Please join us in congratulating and celebrating our talented local artists at these upcoming receptions.Tea and light refreshments will be served. There is no charge for these events.
