Revelstoke families enjoy new child care centre
Community Connections are celebrating their team’s success, opening a new family centre for Revelstoke at the Alliance Church on Illecillewaet Road.
A new family centre for Revelstoke opened this month, offering child care services for children aged 30 months to five years.
The family centre is run by Community Connections, a not-for-profit multi-service agency, and is located at the Alliance Church on 1550 Illecillewaet Road.

The centre is the fruition of work by family services staff who have envisioned this centre for some time, wanting to offer accessible and affordable child care services to locals.
“With the opening of the family centre we have listened to parents in the community who have expressed a desire for a child care service, which reflects the needs of their children and families,” a Community Connections statement read.
Currently over 100 families attend weekly parent and child support drop-in programs offered by Community Connections and the aim of this new centre is to provide a place for families and children where they feel welcomed and supported.
For more information on what services are available at the family centre, please contact Gorette Imm at Community Connections at 250-837-2920.
