Revelstoke Fabrication Lab to host open house event
Ever wanted a sneak peak into the world of laser cutters, 3D printers and more? Well now is your chance — the Revelstoke Fabrication Lab will be hosting a youth programming open house event on Monday, May 27, from 6 – 7 p.m. at Begbie View Elementary.
This free event has been set up to showcase current youth programming equipment, as well as youth summer camp opportunities.
The Revelstoke Fab Lab is a technical prototyping facility that aims to stimulate entrepreneurs, youth, women and local businesses to develop and commercialize new marketable products through increased access to digital manufacturing technologies and tools.
Head down to the open house event to find out more about the group’s current equipment, future plans for expansion, and upcoming summer camps for youth.
