The Revelstoke Chamber of Commerce welcomes its new Executive Director. Caroline Lachapelle will assume the ED position from former director Stacey Brensrud, who announced her resignation in June 2022.
In a press release, Revelstoke Chamber of Commerce President, Maggie Spizzirri, says she’s pleased to welcome Lachapelle, who brings a broad range of skills and experience to the organization.
“The Chamber has some ambitious goals for the future, and we are confident that we have recruited a promising Executive Director who will lead our organization through the next phase. We are building an even stronger and more effective organization that supports its members and community like we’ve never seen before, and we are looking forward to seeing Caroline lead this work,” said Spizzirri.
Lachapelle has experience in advocacy, board governance, and a strong understanding of resort communities’ strengths and challenges, says Spizzirri. Additionally, the new ED is an active volunteer with a great knowledge of non-profits.
“My passion projects have always been with my volunteer work,” said Lachapelle. “Giving back to communities while working alongside local businesses and various levels of government to support growth has been some of the most rewarding times in my life. I am eager to start this new position and grateful to the Board of Directors for giving me the opportunity to support our members and our community in this capacity. I look forward to hearing from many of you in the near future.”
