By MJ LeBuke

The Revelstoke Bantam Junior Grizzlies have become a force to be reckoned with this season, despite the fact the team that almost didn’t happen because of a lack of players.

Thanks to four players from Golden and two players from Nakusp, where numbers were an issue as well, the Junior Grizzlies were able to form the current team. Despite having kids from three different communities, the players have really come together to work hard as a team.

They are enjoying an undefeated season so far in tier 3/4.

This past weekend the Bantam Grizzlies hosted their home tournament here at the Revelstoke Forum.

They continued their undefeated streak throughout the tournament to win the final game with a score of 8-0 against the Lake Bonavista Breakers from Calgary.

The Bantams are hosting the Tier 4 Provincials here in Revelstoke on March 19–24, It should prove to be an exciting event.

Their next home game is Dec 4 at 11:20 against Clearwater. Come out and cheer for the team!
