The Revelstoke Arts Council is cancelling all upcoming shows scheduled at the Revelstoke Performing Arts Centre. The following is a statement issued by the arts council in the early afternoon on Friday, March 13, 2020;

The Revelstoke Arts Council has been closely monitoring recent updates on the Coronavirus (COVID-19). The health and safety of the public, staff, volunteers and artists are our top priority.

Due to the restrictions that the Province of BC has just put in place on gatherings over 250 people the Revelstoke Arts Council is aligning with School District #19 and provincial policy and is cancelling all upcoming shows at the Revelstoke Performing Arts Centre until further notice. This includes Irish Mythen, Kim’s Convenience by Arts Club Theatre, James and the Giant Peach by Circus West and our next Movies in the Mountains, The Biggest Little Farm. We are currently looking into the possibility of rescheduling these events in the future.

All tickets purchased online will be refunded automatically next week, however, the credit card fees cannot be refunded. So the amount refunded on your credit card statement will show the total amount less the credit card fees.

All tickets purchased with cash from the Revelstoke Visitors Centre tickets can be refunded at the Visitors Centre during weekday business hours Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm and tickets must be returned to receive the refund.

All tickets purchased from the RPAC box office can be refunded from the Revelstoke Arts Council office in the Mountain Co-Lab, 101-a 2nd street east, suite 202 Office #3 Tuesday to Friday 10am – 4pm and tickets must be returned to receive the refund.

Please consider donating your ticket to the Revelstoke Arts Council. As a not-for-profit arts organization, we rely heavily on the support of donors, subscribers, and single-ticket buyers. This support is crucial to the organization’s existence, and the Revelstoke Arts Council and other arts organizations could see significant losses due to the impact of COVID-19. By donating your ticket in lieu of a refund, you are providing vital support for the arts and the artists that inspire and connect our community.

If you would like to donate your ticket back to the Revelstoke Arts Council and receive a donation receipt, please email the following information to revelstoketheatre@gmail.com or call 250-814-9325 by Tuesday, March 17:
