The Revelstoke Acrobats will be sending nineteen athletes to Kamloops on March 15-17 to compete at the second B.C. provincial cup.

Things are looking hopeful for the local junior team, after their nine-medal success at their first B.C. provincial cup which took place at The Cameron Centre in Burnaby on the February long weekend.

The star of the show was junior competitor, Will Harasym, after he mobilized to Level 6 (he performed the required difficulty and earned an adequate score to move him up a level). As a result, he has qualified for World Age Groups in Tokyo Japan this November.

Head coach, Jill Drake, commented that it was a fantastic competition for all their athletes.

We wish the Revelstoke Acrobats the best of luck this weekend at their second interclub competition! Check back at the Revelstoke Mountaineer next week for the results.
