Photos: Musicians Wayne County Hog Tie and live square dance caller Sean Fen led the Revelstoke Square Dance Hootenanny last night at the Revelstoke Legion. Fen, from Ohio, is on tour in B.C. helping us dust off our square dancing moves from high school gym class and update them for the times, such as with gender neutral calling, and new dance moves beyond the do-si-do. The takeaway: the fun sweet spot for square dancing is somewhere in between not having a clue what you’re doing and just going for it! 👨🌾 🤠
