The Carousel of Nations multicultural event at the Revelstoke Community Centre on Feb. 4 was a treat for the whole family.
The annual fair features live performances, international foods, lots of kids activities and opportunities to find out more about Revelstoke’s diverse heritage. There were many hundreds on hand for the event.

Aboriginal Friendship Society Revelstoke members (from left) Anna Minten, Marlene Krug, Wanaki Kistabish, and Michelle Cole served bannock at the event. Their organization is relatively new. It has its genesis in work started through aboriginal education in schools here in town, and a desire to reach out more into the community.
