The history of Revelstoke masquerade balls go back over a century to when the community gathered at the opera house — yes, Revelstoke once had an opera house — for the annual masquerade ball.
The tradition is still going strong. Masquerade in Wonderland, held Mar. 9 at Traverse featured creative costumes on the Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland theme.
