Two separate MVI incidents have closed the Trans-Canada Highway on the afternoon of Tuesday, Dec. 11.

The first is about 30 kilometres west of Revelstoke near Griffin Lake. The second is near the east boundary of Mt. Revelstoke National Park.

Few details are available on the two incidents. An image from a Twitter user attributed to the incident east of Revelstoke shows a jackknifed semi-trailer on its side with the cab up in the air.

Both incidents are ongoing as of 4 p.m. on Tuesday. This story will not be updated for the current road situation. For further details on these road closures, check DriveBC.
