Update: Highway open after MVI closes Trans-Canada Highway near Three Valley Gap
Highway is closed west of Revelstoke on Friday afternoon following an MVI.
Update: The traffic situation resolved after about two hours and the highway is open.
Original: The Trans-Canada Highway is closed west of Revelstoke between Griffin Lake and Three Valley Gap following an MVI.
There are not many details at this point. The incident appears to have happened sometime just after 2 p.m. on Friday, January 10.
Drive BC is calling for an update at 3:45 p.m.
Highway cameras show eastbound traffic stopped at the Griffin Lake avalanche control gate.
