An MVI has closed the Trans-Canada Highway near the Enchanted Forest family amusement park west of Revelstoke on Sunday evening.

Currently, the highway is closed and there is no detour or estimated re-opening time.

DriveBC expects to update the situation at 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 4. First reports of the incident from DriveBC came around 6 p.m.
