DriveBC says all lanes are now clear.

Original story:

An MVI has closed the Trans-Canada Highway about 15 kilometres east of Rogers Pass on the afternoon of Thursday, July 22.

There are few details confirmed details about the incident.

DriveBC first reported the incident at around 4:20 p.m.

At a scheduled update just after 5 p.m., DriveBC provided no estimated re-opening time, but said it would update again at 6:30 p.m.

When a reopening time is not available an hour or two after the incident, it’s often a sign that it is a more serious incident, such as one with injuries or worse, and that re-opening will also take longer.
