Two young moose decided to check out the Revelstoke Golf Course early Tuesday morning.

Dean Jackson and Taylor Pearcey were opening the golf shop around 7 a.m., when they noticed the two moose frolicking near one of the ponds.

“They looked like twins. They seemed a little lost,” said Pearcey. “I think they were probably born last year. They were in one of the ponds over on the ninth eating and drinking.”

Pearcey said he and Jackson decided to stay back so they wouldn’t disturb the moose.

“They were out there quite a while,” he said. “It’s the first time I’ve seen moose on the course. I’ve seen bears, deer, eagles, but never a moose.”

Pearcey said the moose seemed to have found their way back across the river after an hour or so of playing on the golf course.

Jackson managed to snap a few photos and uploaded this video to the Revelstoke Golf Cub’s Instagram account:
