You’ve arrived at your one-stop-shop for evening entertainment this weekend. With a plethora of events popping up on your Facebook newsfeed, sometimes it’s hard to keep track of everything going on in our lively town.
We’ve done the work of organizing your social calendar, so that you don’t have to! Check out this weekend’s events below. For more events happening during the week, take a look at our full events calendar.
Friday, March 29
Mat the Alien feat. Wesside at Traverse, 9 p.m.

The B.C. based DJ plays with many tempos, genres and styles — but mostly, his music is characterized by heavy beats and basslines. Photo: Mat the Alien.
Mat’s journey started after hearing the hypnotic, electronic sounds of ‘Acid Warehouse’ parties all over the Northwest of England in ’88. Since then, he has been mixing and scratching his way into the forefront of the electronic music scene worldwide. He has been featured in ground-breaking music blogs, worldwide charts, DJ sets, and radio shows – and now he’s back in Revelstoke!
So put on your dancing shoes, drink a coffee or two, and head on down to Traverse in time for happy hour! Doors open at 9 p.m. and happy hour will run until 10:30 p.m.

An unofficial party at the resort, which celebrates a legacy of ‘The Game of Gnar’. A game which measures “how rad you’re getting” by logging points every time you throw a trick, wear an epic outfit, ski a run on a monoski, or pull various other stunts as outlined in the game rules. Skiers and snowboarders will be dusting off the retro onesies and rummaging through the tickle trunk for an outfit that will make them score some points this Saturday.
There will also be live music from DJ Dexaville playing at the Rockford Grill Revelstoke Plaza 2-5:30 p.m.
