LFI Farmers’ Market temporarily relocated this Saturday

Revelstoke’s newest farmers market, hosted by the Revelstoke Local Food Initiative, is changing locations during the Revelstoke Show ’n’ Shine Car Show.

On June 3, the farmers’ market will be located in the Revelstoke Recreation & Aquatic Centre riverside parking lot, with plenty of room remaining for vehicles to park.

This market will feature your favourite regular vendors like Terra Firma Farm, Wild Flight Farm and Kurt’s Sausage, plus a wide variety of artisans and food producers. You will still be able to get your Stoke Roasted Coffee in a beautiful pottery mug, complimented with a sample from Monashee Distillery and a treat from Thimbleberry Farm.

Bedroc Greenhouse returns with their beautiful flowers to help showcase your prolific tomato plants from Bird Tree Urban Farm. The Local Food Initiative’s farmers market has been seeing huge crowds at their Saturday markets between 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., and is expecting even more customers this coming week. As with all of their markets, they ask that you leave your dog at home, but bring a friend and some cash to support the local vendors.
