Revelstoke Golf Club pro Dean Jackson and men’s club captain Taylor Pearcey need your support to make their charity golf-a-thon a success.
Jackson and Pearcey will golfing from 4:15 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. on June 29 in support of the PGA of British Columbia’s Golfathon for ALS, an annual fundraiser that raises money for research into the terrible disease.
The pair are aiming for 200 holes over the marathon session, and are seeking pledges from Revelstoke residents on a per-hole basis.
Despite the grinding schedule, the pair hope to improve their golf game during the event. Pearcey said he actually scored his best round during the event last year — a 71 — although he did have a few more forgettable rounds.
To pledge your support, visit the pledge book at the pro shop at the Revelstoke Golf Club. Or, donate online through the PGA of British Columbia ALS charity dedicated Revelstoke Golf Club page here.
