Illegal dumping: BC Hydro reminds residents of free garden waste disposal until May 1
BC Hydro and the Arrow Lakes Reservoir Drawdown Zone Committee would like to remind residents that the CSRD has a free garden waste disposal event at the Revelstoke landfill until May 1. Please help take care of the flats and properly dispose of your waste.
It seems to be a kind of tradition here in Revelstoke that once it warms up and the snow melts, piles of lawn and garden waste show up in some odd places like over steep banks, onto empty lots, and along isolated roads.

A large amount of waste also ends up on the flats south of town. BC Hydro and the Arrow Lakes Reservoir Drawdown Zone Committee would like to remind residents that the CSRD has a free garden waste disposal event at the Revelstoke landfill until May 1. Please help take care of the flats and properly dispose of your waste.
