Huge turnout for cancer survivor Ginger Shoji’s final leg of marathon walk

Hundreds turned out to support Revelstoke resident and cancer survivor Ginger Shoji as she completed the final leg of an epic walk in support of cancer survivors.

Over the years, Shoji has walked the equivalent of a 7,800-kilometre coast-to-coast crossing of Canada.

On April 21, residents and students from Begbie View Elementary joined Shoji for the final leg from Grizzly Plaza to Begbie View, where she spoke to students at an assembly.
