Hachey the MouthPEACE, Sam Klass play Friday skatepark fundraiser
Two distinct artists who each base their performances around live loops perform a Friday, Sept. 21 show at the Regent Inn to support the Revelstoke Kovach Park skatepark.
Hamilton beatbox prodigy Hachey the MouthPEACE is headlining a last-minute skatepark fundraiser at the Regent Inn on Friday, Aug. 21.
Hachey is the 2013 Much Music BeatBox champion, and has grabbed other hip-hop awards in his hometown.
He brings a unique electronic setup, layering loops, lyrics and beatbox scratching into his live performances.
Hachey will be joined by Sam Klass, who stops in Revelstoke in between performances at Shambhala and Burning Man.
Klass also builds loop-based solo performances based on a guitar, keyboards, and an impressive array of footpedals. The result is funk-driven instrumental performances underpinned with EDM sounds, combined with vocal performance.

The event benefits the Kovach Park skatepark fund. Admission is by donation at the door, and a portion of PBR can sales go to the skatepark fund.
They will also be joined by artist House of David Cane.
The show starts at 10 p.m.
