The Revelstoke Grizzlies are still perfect in the 2019 KIJHL playoffs after they ended the 100 Mile House Wranglers’ season on the road Wednesday night, winning the Doug Birks Division final.

The Grizzlies fell behind 1-0 late in the first period and didn’t register on the scoreboard until the third, when Rider McCallum tied it up.

Cody Flann then Carter Anderson scored, putting the Grizz up 3-1. With two minutes left, the Wranglers’ Julien Dewey opened the door with a late goal, but the Grizzlies’ Jaden Hay slammed it shut with less than a minute to play for a 4-2 win.

The Grizzlies are 8-0 in the playoffs after sweeping the Wranglers and the Kamloops Storm before them.

The Grizzlies now await their challenger for the Okanagan/Shuswap Conference final pending the result of the Kelowna Chiefs versus Summerland Steam series.

In that series, the Steam took the first game 2–1, but the Chiefs won the next three, outscoring Summerland 17-4. Kelowna could wrap up the series at their next game on Thursday night.

The Okanagan/Shuswap Conference final series dates are still TBA.
