Grizzlies offer HD streaming

Revelstoke Grizzlies fans who are unable to attend home games, or want to follow the team’s on-the-road progress, can now stream all of the Junior B hockey club’s action in high definition. is working its way towards streaming high definition to all Kootenay International Junior Hockey League (KIJHL) rinks. David McIlroy, president of said the KIJHL has been a fantastic partner to work with.

This past summer, PlayFullScreen took a road trip to all KIJHL arenas, with the exception of Spokane.

PlayFullScreen launched in 2008. McIlroy started the streaming site, which is viewed globally, in 1996 after the purchase of INSINC, a company he co-founded.

“I was always a firm believer that sports was going to be very popular on this platform as streaming media,” he said, adding he worked with hockey clubs before there was video.

The Revelstoke Grizzlies next away game takes place Tuesday, Oct. 22 against the Chase Heat. That game is available to stream on PlayFullScreen. The cost to view a single game is $11.99. There is also a five ticket option for $45 and a 25 ticket option for $212.50.
