FortisBC spokesperson Sean Beardow joined Aaron Orlando for an audio interview about the ongoing propane service restoration effort in Revelstoke.

On Oct. 22, an excavator working in the downtown Revelstoke area struck an underground propane main, causing a large gas leak that could be smelled from Save-On-Foods to Southside.

The interview focused on four topics: the recovery effort; the technical side of the repairs; the incident itself and FortisBC’s role in subsequent investigations; and the risk to the community caused by the incident.
