Expanded Jordan River Festival offers four days of kayak events Aug. 10–13
The Jordan River Festival has expanded this year from an informal gathering of Pacific Northwest paddlers to a four-day festival with more for paddlers and spectators. We interview kayakers and event organizers Katrina Van Wijk and Koby Trinker about the 2017 event.
This year, the annual Jordan River Race has been expanded into a four-day festival including a social film night, a ball race on the town portion of the Illecillewaet River, kayak clinics, social events and the classic two-person race down the Jordan River.
