Dozens of community projects unveiled at CBT Community Initiatives meeting

Revelstoke’s very active volunteers and community organizations unveiled over four dozen projects at the Columbia Basin Trust Community Initiatives and Affected Areas meeting at the Revelstoke Community Centre on Mar. 7.

The CBT funding is earmarked for projects initiated by community groups. The funding decision is made in combination between a public vote at the meeting, and a selection committee who makes the final determination.

The table below shows all of the projects that applied for funding.

This year, there was $384,056 available and community groups applied for $745,609. That means some projects will be cut and others will receive reduced funding.

The final decision usually comes with a couple weeks of the public meeting.
